As part of an upgrade to LED lighting, Bournemouth Borough Council was seeking further ways to save

taxpayer’s money and to minimise its carbon footprint. GHE designed, built and installed a control system in two of their multi-storey car parks. The system enables individual computer control of every lamp, including dimming, and was installed wherever possible using the existing light fittings and wiring. Indications are that the combination of LED lighting and the control system will reduce their energy usage to about a sixth of what it was 5 years ago.
